During our visit to the Sant'ambrogio market in Florence, I took the opportunity to buy something to prepare you a delicious recipe. Have you ever imagined preparing a dish with zucchini flowers? Italian flavors are so amazing, with something as simple as this you can create delicious dishes.

  • 8 Zucchini Flowers
  • 120 gr Flour 00
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for frying


  • First, prepare the Pastella with flour, egg, milk, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients.
  • Wash the flowers in cold water, dry them well, and then remove the inner pistils.
  • Place the flowers, in the Pastella, make it adhere well everywhere, then dip them, always one at a time, in the hot oil
  • Cook until golden brown and drain on kitchen paper.
