Fiori di Zucca Fritti

During our visit to the Sant’ambrogio market in Florence, I took the opportunity to buy something to prepare you a delicious recipe. Have you ever imagined preparing a dish with zucchini flowers? Italian flavors are so amazing, with something as simple as this you can create delicious dishes.

  • 8 Zucchini Flowers
  • 120 gr Flour 00
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for frying
  1. First, prepare the Pastella with flour, egg, milk, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Wash the flowers in cold water, dry them well, and then remove the inner pistils.
  3. Place the flowers, in the Pastella, make it adhere well everywhere, then dip them, always one at a time, in the hot oil
  4. Cook until golden brown and drain on kitchen paper.
